1 P.m.

Bella arrives at First  getting ready location.

1:00 pm - Getting Ready

Note: Ideally by the time we arrive, hair and make-up is already wrapping up. If something is going to delay the beginning of the day, it’s often Hair & make-up. Please keep the room as clean as possible so time isn't spent cleaning instead of taking photos.

1.5 hours for First Prep Location
I usually spend about 30 minutes photographing details (invitations, shoes, outfit, vows/gifts, anything sentimental)
15 minutes for documentary and creative "prep photos"
allow 5-20 minutes to get into your outfit depending on how complicated it is
15 minutes for portraits
10 minutes for wedding party photos and parent photos

2:30pm

Bella arrives at Second  getting ready location.

2:30 pm - Getting Ready

Please keep the room as clean as possible so time isn't spent cleaning instead of taking photos.

1 hour for Second Prep Location

I usually spend about 15 minutes photographing details (rings, flowers being pinned, suits/outfits, shoes)
15 minutes for documentary and creative "getting ready photos"
allow 5-10 minutes to get into your outfit depending on how complicated it is (bow ties and pocket squares should be googled ahead of time)

Family Portraits

4:30pm - Portraits

Note: We do family portraits right after the ceremony because everyone you need will be easy to grab. If you can give your family notice that we’ll be taking pictures immediately after the ceremony, that will also ensure that no one wanders off. We’ll help you create a list of family portraits before the big day. I always ask for 1-2 vocal photo helpers to call out family members and round them up. This will take a lot of pressure off you. Since I don't know your uncle's 3rd cousin, I unfortunately can't identify if people are all present. I suggest planning for 3-8 minutes per grouping depending on the size.

Wedding Party Portraits

5:15PM Ceremony

We can do portraits at the ceremony location, at a portrait location of your choice, or at your reception venue. The choice is yours!  Reach out if you'd like my help in brainstorming. I think a sentimental location is better than anything else. Your venue is likely also a beautiful choice since you chose it.

Couple portraits.

5:30pm  couple Portraits

It's great to try and get away from everyone when doing these so that you'll be relaxed. We'll find somewhere private and in great light. In your questionnaire, I'll ask about your favourite aspects of your venue so we will likely visit these locations. The more time I'm given, the more creative I can be.  The best light is 2 hours before sunset, but I can make harsh light work (you just have to be realistic that harsh light isn't going to look like sunlight).

Sunset Portraits

7:30pm Sunset Portraits

Depending on the time of year your wedding is, this time will change.  We'll finalize it when planning your day. I will scope out the location for your sunset photos for about 15 minutes including setup and then grab you two so you won't have to spend much time away from the party. The more time I'm given, the more creative I can get.

sparkler exit photos, send off photos, last requests. You keep dancing the night away with your guests and family. Unless photos of dancing are important, it usually gets kinda sloppy by the end of the night, so this is when I bow out.
