There's something special that can only be captured with movement. The littlest yawn, the smile that starts with a glint in the eye and bursts into a full-bellied laugh. The way your baby reaches up to touch your face, or even pull your hair. The relaxing of their muscles as they snuggle up to you. Films open up a whole new world.

Every film is unique, just like your family.
My family films are real. They include the ups and the downs during our time together. It includes all of the little imperfections, because those are the most important parts of the story.
Each film is crafted from the time we spend together. It's edited and woven together as a accompaniment piece to your keepsake imagery. I recommend sitting down with your family when watching it for the first time to relive those moments together.

I should add that I am a former family photographer, so my standards for professionalism and photos are very high. Bella exceeds them. FAQ about family films
info
Family films are made during your session simultaneously with your images. It is not a separate session. I need the time and space to make these images and the cooperation of children. If family films are important to you, I will prioritize capturing film snippets throughout your session. Turnaround for films are about 5 weeks to 3 months depending on the season (3 months when September - November sessions).
Considerations: Please know that unlike with photos, films only work if you are OK with reality and how your child was during the session. They are uninterrupted segments and will show the ups and downs. It's a much rawer representation of reality (ie no photoshop, no quick edits of split seconds) and if people look at the camera, I cannot use those portions of the footage. Parents that embrace and cherish the personalities and expressions of their children at this moment will benefit most from this experience.
